21st birthday

On Friday night my host family was invited to a 21st birthday from Tash's friend.
In NZ the 21st birthday is a special birthday and more important than the 18th, so it was a good event to learn more about NZ culture.

Dannie celebrated in a bar with friends and family. The music was good, but nobody danced..
The food was yummy and the cake was amazing! Dannie's mother Bev baked and it was really delicious!
One highlight of the evening were the speeches from friends and family and the 21 shots (she had to drink 21 glasses with schnaps)
