Royal albatros center

Today all international students went to the royal albatros center and we learned a lot about albotros'. We watched a film and then I had to dress up as an albatros and we learned that they are with wings up to 3 metres long. These are the largest sea birds in the wotld and they are rare and threatened with extinction. After that we walked to the observe point and we saw despite it was raining a few albatros babies. The babie weith to ten kilos and the are so heavy that they can't fly and they walk slowly.  In September they will leave New Zealnd for 5 years and they will return for breeding. Normally they die with 35 or 40 years, but there is one albatros who became 62 years! in the afternoon we walked to the beach where the bue little penguins live, but there are only at night at the beach.  I saw two seals and some other birds and fourtenatly we discovered a little cave with a penguin in. At the end we watched a film about the danger of plastic and that a lot of sea birds eat plastic, baecause they can't distinguish itfrom their normal food.
